2022-08-26 20:35:47 +0000 UTCI feel like Yusuke took the pacifier because he doesn’t want his failure here to be the reason that Earth gets messed up a 100 years later. So he just wants to tough it out and do his job by beating Sensui. So it feels like it’s not really one of Yusuke’s hot headed moments but instead one of his most level headed decisions. He just pretends like he is being a hot headed kid because he doesn’t want to portray his actual feelings.

2022-08-26 07:34:09 +0000 UTCFun fact: in the manga, Shinobu stomped on Yusuke’s ribs multiple times before calmly reaching to shake Yusuke’s hand. I guess the anime wanted to give Kuwabara a jump scare with the cannon in his face, or they were limited by time restraints.

The personality we first see him with is Minoru, the manipulator, who specializes in the Fancy footwork martial art with purple spirit energy. Kazuya, the gun toting psychopath, came next. Shinobu is indeed the original personality.
