2025-05-22 18:49:25 +0000 UTCJoJo has a new album coming out at midnight called NGL (Not Gonna Lie). It’s only 8 songs. I would love to see y’all react to this album or honestly anything from her. Most people don’t realize that she is able to release music again after fighting a 10 year lawsuit with her former record label to own the rights to her own voice. She has since released 4 albums, this will be the 5th project. She also recently released a memoir where she tells her whole story. Back in 2016 she also re-recorded her first two albums from when she was a teenager so that she would own those two albums. She is absolutely amazing. Her vocal range at 12-13 was insane and it has only grown as she has matured. She is definitely worth listening to if you haven’t or listening to some of her newer stuff. She has a really interesting story too. Just to clarify, because when I talk about her people always ask, not JoJo Siwa. I’m talking about “Leave, Get out” from the early 2000s.

I'd say the best songs to start out with if you're brand new are: Ode to Sleep (the song that encapsulates them most as a band), Holding on to You, Stressed Out (though you probably hear that one before), and Lane Boy!

Everything you guys love about harmonies and melodies comes ALIVE in this album. Terry would definitely get emotional.

They’ve been thru so much as a band and individually. They just finished a world tour and are back better than ever. They’re my favorite band in the entire world! When this music video dropped, I stayed home from work just so I wouldn’t miss it, was shocked by what I saw and the lyrics that I sobbed so hard I couldn’t even see it 😂💀
