2024-09-05 03:17:21 +0000 UTCPersonally, I think TTPD is an accumulation of TS past loves. There are ones that are "obviously" pointing to one certain person, but I think it's more than one. I think she put easter eggs in for the people who know who they are, but will always wonder if it was actually all about them. It's reminiscent of Carly Simon's "You're so Vain". Everyone wants to know who it is about, narrowed it down to one but it is actually about 3 people. To this day, no one knows all of them but Carly. The TTPD album is all about leaving it on the floor, and walking away without looking back. It makes sense that she has incorporated all the ones who made her feel a certain way, exorcised those demons and plans to never revisit them. This is a purge era. The tie backs to earlier songs covers a multitude of past relationships that have been in her catalog for years. Lolz, I think she is just done thinking about it or caring anymore. Purge them all ;)
