Quick progress report on Yen, not done yet but it's a good step forward as, for upcoming steps, I can do a little bit here and there instead of having to find half a day or more as it was the case for previous steps.
What's done :
Exporting all models and textures from game files
Importing models in blender and fixing location/rotation issues
Renaming and parenting most bones from exported models to make them usable
Sculpting head and fixing vertices' distortions
Transferring body and face textures from exported model to mine
Fixing and merging textures in photoshop
Pics 2&3 show the body proportions from current model and the new model. Head was really small compared to the rest of the body in current model.
What's left :
Adapting all outfits to body shape
Adding eyebrows and eyelashes
Rigging all the above and transferring body morphs from body to outfits
Converting all textures to correct format
Configuring materials/nodes for outfits
Configuring skirt's bones' constraints so it moves with legs
Parenting all hair bones to each other to make the hair rig usable
Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting
Can't say exactly when I'll be done but early august might be possible. I'll probably be able to give more frequent updates at least since I can show somewhat interesting stuff now.
