Announcement
Added 2025-03-20 08:47:24 +0000 UTCHi everyone,
It's not an easy post to make so I will be quick and to the point.
All monthly subscriptions and associated rewards will stop at the end of next month (april).
Early next month I'll unpublish all tiers, meaning no new patron will be able to subscribe.
Patrons who are currently subscribed will keep their subscription unless they manually unsubscribe. Technically you could keep your current tier forever but I wanna be clear that rewards will stop at the end of next month.
Speaking of rewards, the goal is to release both Triss and Yennefer by then.
All models will remain on google drive for now so you can still access them with the links you got. If it changes at some point, I'll notify it in advance.
The shop will remain as well and will be the main way to share my models from now on. I'll add more "older" models to the shop as well. Prices might evolve down the line.
Last but not least, I wanna thank every patron for their support. You're the reason I held so long. I'm sorry to end it like that and so quickly but it's been a long time coming.
Hopefully it will be the fresh start I've been trying to reach for a good while now.
PS, if you're wondering why, here's a few reasons :
1) I don't think current rewards are fair for patrons and I don't like that. No matter what I try, I just can't keep up anymore. Now that I extract game meshes and textures myself, model the face by hand and bake all textures on top of what I used to do (fitting outfits, materials setup, rigging etc.), the time spent on a model is just too much. I used to be able to make simple models in a couple of hours, now I'm lucky if I spend less than 10 times as much. Yeah the quality increased, but is it worth it if they're used for porn ? Probably not.
2) the motivation to share models is just gone. I see what people do with my models and while there's some really cool stuff, I mostly only see porn with naked models. For someone who tries to offer as much outfits as possible, it's disheartening. My renders try to reflect what I'd like to see but I understand that's not most people's cup of tea. I'm not trying to point fingers or making anybody feel bad about making nsfw content, I enjoy it as well to some degree but I hoped things would be more balanced I guess.
3) subscriptions rewards became a constraint. I recently played Syberia The World Before and loved it so much (Syberia series as a whole is awesome btw). I would love to do some renders with the characters but I can't because nobody will care about that, and with my current rate of releases, I can't have a "nobody cares" model.
Comments
I'll see what I can do about the files but no promises.

2025-04-01 17:07:30 +0000 UTCThanks for the ride. You have done some great stuff and your libraries are definitely huge value. I haven't come across anyone else with such a selection of outfit and poss. I think I have been around long enough to have all your models, so thanks for that. I hope you continue making content to satisfy your own personal artistic desires. And maybe, you wouldn't mind adding something occasionally to your store. Models are great, but I personally would appreciate a blend of your fully realised scenes. I would pay a premium for that. And is it too much to ask for maybe one more scene file before you go? Maybe an old one, if you are willing to share. Anyway thanks, and best wishes for your future.

2025-03-29 15:37:52 +0000 UTCThank you for your hard work, mate. I get the frustration of the business at the end of the day, and while I'm one of those fellas who have mostly utilized your models for NSFW purposes, the accompanying clothes have been crucial for other more plot-heavy formats (for instance, whenever I do comic work) so I've always appreciated their inclusion. I'll hang around a bit longer as a monthly sub but will definitely be checking out your store once you launch it full-on for whatever models I'm missing and that might interest me. Godspeed and hope you stick around in the industry, working at your own pace, whenever the mood strikes - I maintain that you're one of the best out there.

2025-03-22 13:17:17 +0000 UTCOh man, the struggle of wanting to make art and it getting watered down into just porn I hear. Your models have been an incredible gateway for me. The custom UI and Outfit Library has allows you to even make some great custom models with it too. And the latest Ciri model has some of the best quality I've seen in a long time, especially the textures, they look so great in pretty much any lighting. I was just coming on here to temporally undo my subscription (for reasons completely unrelated to you, just managing some funds) But I am 100% gonna resub for those next models. And get some more from the shop too. You got my full support on this decision! I'm gonna challenge myself to make some poster level stuff with the Yennifer and Triss models, really looking forward to those. And I am fully happy with the pricing. No others match the quality and ease of use you provide, so don't feel bad to take your time!

2025-03-21 00:28:22 +0000 UTCThank you, especially for your continued support since the beginning almost. I'm glad to hear the models lead you to some interesting things and encounters. As for your first statement, you're correct but the thing is, I don't need this to live. It's welcome for sure, but not needed. I was happy to do it for a while, but right now it's a struggle and it will only lead to further frustrations on both sides. Hopefully, cutting the tiers will allow blender to become a passion thing again.

2025-03-20 17:25:18 +0000 UTCThanks for the honest feedback. I understand it can be frustrating from your point of view, but I need to clarify that the reasons I laid out at the end aren't by far the only ones that led to this decision. It's not the purpose of the post though so I didn't want to add too much clutter, and some reasons are purely personal. Patrons' support has been great, and it helped, but I just can't do this anymore. Opening blender has become a struggle. The practical suggestions you mention are logical, yes, but it's not that simple. An example : I recently released a Ciri update, what kind of an update would it be if it had less outfits ? Another example, the Syberia stuff I mentioned, no model extracted by anybody anywhere that I could find...so it's really not a choice sometimes. I'll add that, with time, my quality standards evolved and that's just where I stand with quality at the moment. I respect you as a customer so I can't and won't release a poorly textured or rigged model just for the sake of speed. That's just not who I am, and I suppose that's part of why you're happy as a customer. As for the models you're missing, it's up to you really. If my finances are your concern or motivation though, don't. I have a "real" job that provides everything I need already. On a brighter note, yes it's the end of tiers, but I never said it's the end of models.

2025-03-20 17:17:28 +0000 UTCIt's the eternal struggle of art vs product. Only the luckiest people on this Earth are in the position to do both things that are popular and completely fulfilling on the artistic level. If you are not born wealthy that's just how things tend to be, you have to do some things you might not like to support the things you love. The quality of your models is superb and without the UI and all the things that make them easy to use I would probably dumped Blender a long time ago and never met a lot of people I am friends to this day thanks to exchanging questions and pics. You gave my fav girl a second life so whatever you decide to do, I will be in your corner.

2025-03-20 14:49:51 +0000 UTCIf this is the end, then I suppose there's no reason to withhold honest feedback. Obviously I don't know you, but I could never understand why you're always so unhappy with things because, as a customer, I couldn't be happier. Your models are outstanding, and I've had no issues whatsoever with your pricing strategies. I've only ever just wanted to keep enjoying your work, and I don't think I'm the only one. Whenever you've posted a concern, I've seen nothing but support from the comments. People share very practical suggestions all the time. For instance: If it's too time-consuming to extract your own models, don't. If you're creating a ton of outfits nobody uses, limit yourself to one or two. If you want to do a render, do it. These problems have solutions, but it doesn't seem like you're willing to try them because you've already decided they won't work for one reason or another. I'm not trying to tell you're wrong for not enjoying it or not wanting to do it anymore, I just thought I'd share my thoughts from a fan's perspective. I certainly wish you all the best. Anyway, I have been a subscriber for a long time, but I don't have all of your models. Now I'd kinda like a complete archive of them. Should I subscribe to a higher tier before you remove them so I can pick these models to download, or just wait for them to appear on the store? I'm not sure I'll be able to afford all the ones I want, but maybe I can pick up a few more to give you a little extra support before the end.

2025-03-20 14:34:58 +0000 UTCThanks, and glad you find the models easy to use. That was the main goal of the UI. I know some people think it's a "noob" thing but I actually use it myself because it's just really convenient. I can't say for sure I'll release new models but it's likely to be the case, although probably not the models everybody expects.

2025-03-20 14:02:12 +0000 UTCThanks for overcoming your introvertedness and sharing your view, I'm in the same boat so I understand it's not easy. It all boils down to your last phrase I think, that's what I tried to do when I reworked the tiers last year and it worked okay for a while, but it's not enough and the tiers need to go. Maybe they'll be back at some point but for now, the shop will have to do. And yeah the shop system is indeed a good thing but I'm sorry to say it still requires you to DM me as models aren't included in the post anymore. It's not as smooth but all in all it's better. It allows people to have the latest shared textures and addon at all times, which wouldn't be possible if I had to updated dozens of files. Also I only have one version of each model to maintain instead of two so it's easier for me.

2025-03-20 13:55:31 +0000 UTCHey, you can do whatever you want with the models and that's totally fine. I didn't want to make anybody feel bad about their content, it's just that 99% of the stuff I'm tagged with is naked models, which is fine in itself but also growing old after so many years.
LeGuymelef
2025-03-20 13:34:34 +0000 UTCI wanted to add, I certainly appreciate the outfits you include, whilst I won't lie and say I don't use your models primarily for fetish content, I use them clothed 99% of the time, mostly just removing the shoes or boots, so it's great seeing the care and detail put into the outfits.

2025-03-20 13:13:32 +0000 UTCWell it's quite heartbreaking to read you dump on porn like that, but I totally get what you mean considering the insane effort you put into your models and how little of it gets actively used. I have to admit that since I bought your models last year, I mostly work with them instead of the rest of my model archive because not only are they of such high quality and offer a great user experience, they also provide a lot of accessibility for features that otherwise require deeper effort and knowledge in regards to modelling and editing. I was looking forward to all the other models you might create, but no one would want you to force yourself through this if it causes so much frustration for you. Whatever you do from this point onwards, I wish you the best and that you find a way that enables you to truly enjoy what you do while being able to apply the skills you worked so hard for. It has been a pleasure!

2025-03-20 12:58:46 +0000 UTCI've been in similar situations too trying to do better and better, more and more. Trying to focus on pleasing the audience before everything often ending up making content I'm very detached to myself. You're one of the highest quality model makers in the community right now but honestly I don't know much about how profitable it is nor how to get a stable income out of it. What I know is that being forced to make stuff you don't feel attached to or that is not what you really wanna do is the fastest way to get you burned out. If you still have the desire of making content. Take some time, rework your entire system because this clearly burned you out many times. While there's no way to push people into using more outfits you have control on point 1 and 3. Do what you like. Make tiers that you feel are very fair and convenient. We all know there are leakers around. If you put so much effort into fighting that, you're only hurting yourself and your supporters. Every artist from the smallest to the biggest have their content constantly leaked. People who look for leaks are not willing to pay in the first place and there's no way you can stop them so all you do is making it hard for yourself and those who are actually supporting you. Despite the leaks, it's best to just ignore them. I try to make my tiers as nice and affordable as possible with as many rewards as I can deliver and there were many cases where people willingly decided to support instead of getting it for free just because of how affordable and worth they consider it. Indie developers often lower their prices on certain countries because many people in those countries pirate the games simply because they can't afford it. People are generally good hearted :D Personally I think your market system is already way better than the DM system you had before which aside from being obnoxious for you to have to manually give models around it was very intimidating for people like me who are very introverted and don't usually approach people. What I'm trying to say is that you definitely need a total rework on your goals, you can be whatever you want, if you're considering to quit might as well stop tormenting yourself on expectations. Make posters, images, stories, animations. Whatever you feel like you wanna do and can do without burning yourself out, find again that passion that we all had when we started and it was all still magical. Your models are great but you don't have to carry that weight on your own, there are many people who make models of the most popular trending characters. Just make the models you like that serves you to make the content you want to make.

2025-03-20 12:39:44 +0000 UTCDo what makes you happiest, it's sad to hear but totally understandable, I think putting your models into the shop with your current sytem is a good idea, it means people can still get access to some of your older models that aren't available unless requested.
