Bleach is a fantastic work of character and world building. With an awful writing. He should have hired someone to write the story and guided him to the general idea.

It does not manifest. The author says it in one of the many inbetween chapters pages.

You are right, opening is sung by LiSA, who also sang opening for Fate/Zero

If some people are still having trouble now then maybe they should just start putting the link of the reaction directly here? like I don't even get why they don't, that would make people stop complaining instantly.

I mean, I think he actually uses the water though, like softning his landings or making he's sword reach longer... so yeah It's my interpretation that there is actual water magic happening here.

Just pointing out that Tanjiro did not, in fact, smell Sabito. He can smell the thread to the opening on his opponent, but when Sabito first appears he makes a point to say that he had no scent.

So like others have said, the water is just a visual representation of the sword style they use. Only the demons use supernatural powers and spells. The demon slayers are fighting demons with "regular" swords using different slash styles and breathing techniques based on the form of the elements. Tanjiro uses a water based style due to how smooth, fluid and flexible the moves are. Just like water. As a result the animators added stylized water animation to make Tanjiro's regular sword slashing more visually appealing. This will be the same for every demon slayer fight so the water is not literally there.

Heaven forbid the creators make things convenient for their patrons.

It would be convenient for many viewers if you could add the link to the reaction directly on patreon itself.

You’ll soon find out that there are a LOT of parallels between Demon Slayer and Bleach. But honestly, this feels more like what Bleach, SHOULD have been.

How do people still have so much trouble with this?? Play the video in Patreon, then click the title to open it in youtube. Then go to the description and click the link there for the reaction.

My email takes me to Patreon instead of opening it on YouTube, so I don't know how to get to it.

I think it actually manifests. Like, the elements have tangible effects, and other people can see them (at least in the manga).

So the water does not physically manifest, rather it just represents a breathing and sword style
