2025 Community Census Results & Future Content!

Good day, Stinkers! 

Just over a month ago, we asked our patrons to participate in a census to help us get a better understanding of our community, what you all have been enjoying, and what you want to see more of. We are so thankful to all of you who participated, as it gave us some amazing insights, and helped us with our direction moving forward - and we want to share that with you today!

Some fun facts about our Patreon members:

• Almost half of you (47%)  are between the ages of 25-34! You are very cool grownups.

• The majority of our audience is based in the US, followed by the UK & Canada (closely tied) and Australia and Germany.

• The majority of you (33%) found us through YouTube shorts, while 26% of you knew us from Rooster Teeth.

• Over half (56%) can whistle. Impressive!

• 60% say it’s “Skellingtons”. Blaine is pleased.

• The overall favorite NPCs were Smarsh and Brink Tussler. Great taste. 

And now, to address feedback!

We are so touched by all the kind words of support and encouragement we received - as well as hearing what you’re enjoying and may want to see more of. It has all been tremendously helpful.

Moving forward, Tavern Tales is going to be a big priority; whether they are single one-shots we have in mind or mini campaigns. We all share a love of D&D, and we want to make more! Right now our plan is to try to have a Tavern Tale every quarter, and hopefully more in the future as we grow.

Next up, gameplay content! We want to be more purposeful with what we make, so moving forward, we will have gameplay content that is both recurring series (like Baldur’s Gate 3) and also new and relevant games that we think we’d have a lot of fun playing together. Our plan is to continue to release 2 gameplay videos per month, one of each type. 

As for our live Discord live streams, our personal goal is to continue to improve on these in both interactivity and variety, as well as include you all in the conversation more for feedback and ideas. We have started a chat on Patreon to help keep the conversation going (open to Super Stinkers and up). 

Lastly, we are always looking to try new things and test new projects with our patrons. We are excited to announce that we have begun initial brainstorming for a Dug on the Ones and Twos pilot that will be exclusive to Patreon members! We will have more information soon.
