Music vid at the beginning still need work

Season 8 episode 4

Comments

Aaron's become battle hardened lol Can't feel the same feels! He's right about something though... Cersei is not a strategist. She's just a hateful c**t - she doesn't plan for anything other than the short-term. I'm also glad they cut the head off because who knows Missandei may have survived that fall which would suck.

Simone Cherie

Fiening for that new episode 😮‍💨

Casino

She can definitely be both, of course. Her individual character just may not see that life as automatically equaling happiness. Many people don’t and clearly many other characters who were married weren’t the most lovely happy people, lol. Just my view:)

Eve Griffin

That storyline def wasn’t my favorite.

Eve Griffin

Yes I loved multiple scenes with no dialogue of Arya rubbing towels on random bodies

Stannis the Mannis

Maybe we’ll find out whenever he finishes Winds of Winter and a Dream of Spring (I think that’s what the last book supposed to be called). I would like for Arya to have a happy ending in the books because she is my favorite character overall

Please don't make us wait an extra week for the finale lol. We will all be much happier getting them both ASAP and waiting for the tierlist/next show than waiting for the finale.

Dicky Anderson

Ya she said that when she was a little girl. Sansa also said some things in season 1 that no longer apply to her because she evolved and grew up. I personally think GRRM will have Arya be the more romantic one like her aunt Lyanna Stark was a tomboy and eventually fell in love. But that’s just me lol

A De La Torre

Yeah, exactly. He disobeyed Cersei and gave them the chance to buy him out. What more can they ask? He just wants to make sure he gets a good deal for flipping on her.

Dicky Anderson

Oh I know who Nymeria is, Arya named her Direwolf after her. I’m not saying that Arya can’t be an adventure & a warrior & also be married w/kids, I’m just saying that she’s said in the show that being married with children is not something that she wants. That’s where “That’s not me” originally comes from. She says that to Ned in season one when he tells her that one day she’ll “marry a high lord & her sons will be knights & princes & lords”

Queen Nymeria was also an adventurer and fighter and she also got married lol you can do both. So did Lyanna Stark…

A De La Torre

I think Bronn was always like that. I like how they portrait him in his scene and i dont think he would really kill them, he made all this just to get a better deal.

Muxi

💯 if Arya would’ve agreed to marry Gendry I would’ve been pissed. Completely against her character. She’s an adventurer and fighter.

Eve Griffin

They didn’t have book content either. To me it was handled quite well.

Eve Griffin

They were up shits creek without a paddle to make Arya wasting time in seasons 5 and 6 to mean anything

Stannis the Mannis

I love the pauses! Thank you :)

Amanda Sargent

I get why the guys want Arya to be ‘safe’ & loved but she’s been saying since season one that she didn’t want to be a lady in a castle, married to a lord & having babies as her only accomplishments. She knew it before any horrible things happened that life wasn’t the life for her. Kinda like Yara & Brienne. And while there is definitely a spark & true affection between Sansa & the Hound, I think their relationship mirrors Jorah & Daenerys. I mean while Sansa genuinely has love for the Hound, it’s a love born out of respect & appreciation for him while his is more of a romantic love.

The music video intro is 🔥🔥🔥

JohnxThex5th

OMG I've watched that intro like 10 times, absolutely fantastic, I'm literally crying :D

Melanie Vine

Hell yes I love watching you guys!

Nicole

Love you guys but I'm going to disagree with Aaron on the hero match up thing. The whole theme of this show and that George RR has spoken about many times are there are NO rules. He wrote this book eliminating all troupes of typical fantasy. Thats why there is such grey area between good and evil - unlike LOTR etc where it is sorry (formulaic). The Knight King never was a fighter - we never ever saw him use sword. It would've been out of character to see him suddenly flight. His power was his omnipresant dark commander status. The "surprise" to the living was that it wasn't ever going to be how they expected or how it was SUPPOSED to go. I actually would've been eye rolling had he fought with Jon. To me that scenario would have been lazy storytelling tbh. Plus - it gave purpose to Arya's whole faceless training. Beric saved her to do what she did. Everyone single person played a specific role. No one was better than anyone. ANYWHO - You guys have the best reactions and love your views. Agree Aaron on the dark episode. It was MEANT to be dark hence "THE LONG NIGHT". The terror and confusion was meant to be tangible. I find a lot of season 8 complainers tend to not grasp symbolism as much as others. This series for the rest is nothing you will expect as has been the whole show. To me is what makes it a class of its own and epic. PS. It was never confirmed Jon was the prince who was promised - only an idea. They even said Dany could've been princess who was promised. That isn't solidified as of yet so Jon didnt have a predestined fate to kill anyone. ALL RIGHT ....off my THORNES HIGH HORSE. ENJOY !

Eve Griffin

Don't apologize for pausing. Your commentary is gold.
