I love suspense horrors! I'm always down to watch horror! I recommend The Night House the most! The level of detail in the movie is amazing. I haven't watched in a while definitely gotta watch it again but highly recommend

I love this episode! I don't like first-hand experiencing horror, mostly because I have an overactive imagination and some of it will stick with me a little too much. However, I do appreciate the genre, especially when it's well executed. I've watched some and liked them, like Scream - but I know that one also plays with the genre. Cabin in the Woods has been one that I've been interested in watching, and based on Barb's and Jon's discussion, I think I should finally watch it. I loved hearing all the recommendations and why, and the themes and behind the scenes. It's fun to listen to all of it, especially since Halloween is my favorite!

One of the best jump scare movies - The Babadook. Properly disturbing but uplifting at the end.

I, to this day, refuse to watch Freddy Krueger movies all because my dad showed me Nightmare on Elms Street at the age of 6.

Ok but Jon talking about how the interview with a vampire bit gave him nightmares as a kid, I remember the Scary Movie 2 bit of the exorcist giving me nightmares for a month, and that’s supposed to be a comedy 😂
