2025-02-12 21:52:25 +0000 UTCI feel that anxiety bit that John was talking about. I have horrible anxiety too but I want to become a teacher someday. Now the problem is that I’m getting my ma and it’s so easy to forget that teaching requires standing up in front a bunch of students who vary in their desire to be there and talk about books for at least an hour. So imagine the horror when I was reminded of that and had to teach a class for a day. Like it was almost impossible (despite having the material planned ahead) because I had to be interesting but not dominate the conversation; encouraging of discussion but not pressing for it; and I had to for cohesive analysis to trigger all of it. I got through it, thanks to those wonderful students who are usually very quiet, but it was so stressful. It’s amazing to find out John also struggles with anxiety when he is just so amazing at making these characters and being so funny (with an amazing laugh that always gets me to join in)

I am much more at peace now than I used to be because of playing dnd and listening to SD. Stinky Dragon has been healing and therapeutic for me. Thank you to everyone who makes this show possible.
