C=10, and A=B, assuming that Barnie flew at a 45 degree angle. To find A and B, you square C, divide it by 2, then square root it. This gives us one of the legs of the other triangle. You then take the distance he traveled horizontally, subtract it from 20, giving 13. 13 squared plus 7 squared gives 218, and the square root of that gives. 14.76. Now Barnie could have actually flew straight up, making it 20 squared plus 10 squared, giving 500, and the square root of it being 22.36
