Whoa! I didn't realise that was the director! Makes sense seeing all these people come together. And what! KDS was in this?? 😍 How did I miss that! I look forward to my edit now haha Yeah her name is SO familiar but didn't recognise anything she was in. Probably a household name I've heard here and there in my Aussie content. Thanks for the rec! 2024-10-09 14:28:20 +0000 UTCDirector of the movie was the annoying support group counselor from Mr. Inbetween, and your mate Kieran Darcy Smith was in there briefly too, didn't notice you notice him, but otherwise you killed it with the recognition. ;) Jacki Weaver is a friend of a friend, she was on Australian soap operas in the 70s (my old man had a massive crush on her when he was a young bloke) she had a pretty quiet career for a while and then this flick brought her back in a big way, and now she's getting oscar nominations left and right, really great to see, she's so good. If you're looking for something similar to this in spirit/tone etc, I'd recommend The Stranger (2022), It's got that Edgerton / Blue Tongue Films stink all over it, in the best possible way.
