Progress update #8

Hello everyone!

I thought it was about time to give you a little update on how things are proceeding. I will do as last time, giving you the progress per character (and path) in the new update.

As I haven't recieved any feedback that has asked or suggested changes to what I revealed in the dev-release, I've continued onwards. Still, if you have any thoughts that you want to share, feel free to do so (you can write to me directly if you're uncomfortable with the public comments).

Lets start!

Trent:

Current progress: 100%

The Trent path has been completed. I've finished the alternative paths of his update to match the choices made previously in the game.

Jamie:

Current progress: 100%

The Jamie path has been completed. I have not implemented any changes from the dev-release.

Nathan:

Current progress: 100% 

The Nathan path has been completed. No changes has been made from the dev-release.

Gregor:

Current progress, CG's: 100%

The CG's for Gregor's path has been finished. There might be a sprite/image I might end up needing after the dialogue is a 100% complete, but for now I have all I need.

Current progress, Dialogue: 70%

I'm over halfway done in the writing part of Gregor's path. As I have most of the CG's ready, this part shouldn't take long at all.

Martin:

Current progress, CG's: 30%

I've made no further progress on the Martin path.

Current progress, Dialogue: 0%

I've made no further progress on the Martin path.

Frank:

Current progress, CG's: 30%

I've made no further progress on the Frank path.

Current progress, Dialogue: 15 %

I've made no further progress on the Frank path.

Other:

I'll be finished with Gregor's path some time this week, and will then continue on with Martin and Frank. As summer has arrived and my fulltime job has slowed down, I've dared to put down the goal of trying to only use a week per remaining character.

After that I'll have to update the gallery, add in all the relationship point changes, have the script proofread, and fully test the update.

I look forward to hearing back from you. I’m really looking thinking about how Brenden comes in and affects a relationship with Jamie. There’s three-some’s, maybe a jealousy angle, maybe pick and choose idea. Another idea I had is a Dilf three way with Gregor and Frank.

Thank you, those are some great ideas. It would mean a lot of extra work, that's true, but it's very likely worth it. I'll do some thinking, try come up with some ideas on how to implement it as seemless as possible for the narrative of the stories, and get back to you on that.

I’m thinking giving players the choice to play as a top or bottom is a great idea. As you and I have talked before. One of my favorite VN’s to play (SpaceCorp), that’s one of greatest things about it. A lot of choices. Granted it is more work for you. But maybe on the same token, give players some other choices like a future three-some choice with Trent and Gregor or Frank and Martin. Or a Brenden and Jamie could be a great choice. Maybe some morality choices, choosing a three-some could lead to jealousy feelings. Maybe a “getting drunk” and letting Nathan have his way with you leads to feelings of regret and shame. Again, mind you it could create a lot of work for you. So of course it’s up to you. How much are you willing to work at this. Either way, I’m in for the long haul.
