I've returned!! Thank you all for your patience as I took a break last month - it might have been the first break I've taken since starting this Patreon? So it gave me some time to think about next steps.

First off though is this month's illustration - I've drawn plenty of devil girls and lots of dark and moody illustrations, but I don't remember drawing many angels! So this was a fun little twist and I'm actually happy with the palette here - it makes me feel warm and fuzzy πŸ₯° I always like girls that look soft too, so hopefully that comes across.

With this illustration comes some harder news though - I think I'll make next month the last month of regularly updating this Patreon. I explored a bunch of different options on what to do here, and honestly, there aren't really any great ones.

What I wish I could do is how Patreon used to work, where you'd only pay per update - that way I'd be able to update on a less regular schedule. You CAN sell individual posts instead, which I thought would be good... but you need to still subscribe as Patrons, and 18+ Patreons don't allow free memberships. No matter what, you'd need to be paying a monthly fee, so it makes no sense to sell individual posts on top of that.

Basically, the only way to keep this running in any capacity is to keep the monthly membership fee going, and I don't think it's fair to you all to continue paying for a membership where you don't know when you'll get the next update.

I think we have two options - we part ways and say so long to the Patreon for now, which means I won't have an outlet for the occasional post I might still want to make.

The other option is to keep it open and available, and treat it like a tip jar - that way the posts still stay up and anyone new could still join, grab all the past content, and bail. But it doesn't feel great to keep a membership open for undetermined content.

So I really don't know! That's where I ended up, and I still haven't really made a choice because neither is ideal. But I wanted to share this with you all and get your thoughts - maybe there are other options I haven't considered. If you have any thoughts here, I'd love to hear them.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this illustration and I'll keep y'all updated for next month. Thank you all!!!!!! ❀️

I’m into the tip jar idea! The cost is plenty low as is, and you wouldn’t need burn yourself out with a monthly deadline.

tip jar is fine! But I'm also willing to support my favorite artist anywhere tho! :)
