“They loved you at the party, Tristan. Everyone at school agreed that you were the wildest girl there. You have to go with me again” my sister, Kayleigh, whispered to me during study hall. My sister had convinced me to dress up as a girl and go with her to a party because I didn’t really look like a boy this past weekend. All it took was some makeup, breast forms, and a modest outfit to make everyone believe I was Taylor. “You know what you’re doing with this girl thing, Tristan. Explain to me how you were able to make your voice so high” Kayleigh said, looking around and making sure no one was listening. “I learned how to do it to prank people on Xbox Live” I said, starting to sweat “I’m pretty sure any serious gamer can do it over time.” “That is so NOT normal. I don’t know anyone else that can do that, but you. Also, how were you able to pick out an outfit AND manage NOT to twist your ankle in high heels?” Kayleigh said intensely. “I don’t do this for fun in my free time, if that’s what you’re thinking. I just happen to be really talented at it” I said, brushing my long hair out of my face. “It really takes a lot of talent to grow your hair out that long too, huh?” Kayleigh said, sarcastically, “Whatever. I’m going to go shopping later for some clothes, and you’re going to go with me. The entire city will be out at the new theme park. No one will see us together” Kayleigh said lowering her voice. “OK. Fine, just stop bothering me about all this. Just don’t tell anyone” I said, feeling some weight drop off my shoulders. “Of course! You won’t regret this, sis. We’re going to have so much fun after school today” Kayleigh said, covering her mouth to hide her enthusiasm
