Sorry this was up late. I went to a concert Sunday and decided to watch the ep on Monday.
It really destroyed me... and I waited a day to edit it. THIS WAS SUCH A HARD WATCH to the finale of Kuma... my heart still breaks.
BUT I WILL SAY ... Oda... his storytelling is on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Seeing Bonney Cry hundreds of ep ago... Oda planned out this from the beginning which is CRAZY...
Kuma we love you <3 Rest in Peace ;(

I just finished this episode too. And this is almost on par if not more than when the going merry left. Ive havent cried this much since that episode.

2025-07-22 23:26:21 +0000 UTCThere is definitley a lot Oda planned. And some he didnt. I am 100% convinced Bonney actually being 10 in Sabaody was a big ol retcon. She acts wildly different in her first few appearances than she does later. By the time of the Reverie however Oda at least had all the Kuma stuff down. But I think the age thing was a last minute decision in Egghead.
