People around the city used to know me as Nicholas Marks, but now, thanks to my narcissistic cousin & her never-ending greed, I went by Nikki Marks. Let me explain how I went from a 19-year-old boy to a 20-year-old girl. It was early August, & I was spending some time at my Aunt’s house because she was throwing a party, so, like I usually do when I go to parties, I began to drink as much as I could in hopes that I would pass out. Midway through a bottle, my cousin came up to me, complaining about how she didn’t get into her dream school. I barely understood what she was saying, so I told her that was great. Her face turned red, but I continued to tell her how cool of an experience that must have been. My cousin, Vivian, then raised her voice at me and said “You always get what you want. Just because you got into your dream school doesn’t mean that you can just rub it in my face”.

Vivian took a small bag of golden dust from her pocket and emptied the contents in her hand. She blew all of the dust into the air, which landed on me. As the dust landed on me, I began to shrink in size from 5”11” to 5”4”, new long hair fell past my shoulders, my butt began to increase in size, two large breasts grew from my chest, & I overall started to look like a girl. When the transformation was complete, I stood next to Vivian in a small bikini. I let out a soft squeal, but to my surprise, a high-pitched voice came out, making me sound nothing like a guy.

Vivian started to laugh & told me that this was what I deserved. She said she had used some kind of magical glitter to turn me into a girl. Standing next to my cousin at a house party in nothing but a bikini was humiliating. My face began to turn red, and I looked around to see if anyone had seen me. I ran inside and locked myself into the nearest room. It was my Aunt Clara’s room. Good. She definitely had some clothes for me to wear. All I had to do was change out of this tiny little thing and get dressed into something more appropriate. What to wear though? A dress? A skirt? Some ripped jeans? Decisions…

After what seemed like an eternity, I ended up settling on a dress and some sandals. The dress showed off my new assets quite nicely, but it didn’t bother me at all. It was as if my mind was becoming more feminine. I wonder what everyone would think of me when I stepped out? They’re going to freak out and tell me to leave. What is my Aunt going to think when her nephew comes out in a feminine outfit? I guess there's only one way to find out…

Upon coming out of the room, I noticed that my Aunt had seen me from where she was standing in the kitchen. “Nikki, you look gorgeous in that dress. It never fit me all that well, so I’m glad you could make good use of it” Aunt Clara said, delighted.

Delighted? Nikki? What’s going on here? I got it! It all makes sense now. The magic not only changed my gender, but it also changed reality. People didn’t know me as Nicholas. People knew me as Nikki, a beautiful girl who had lots of potential. “Thanks, Aunt Clara. I didn’t mean to invade your drawers or anything. I was just trying some clothes on because... uhhh… I spilled something on my old jeans” I said softly. “No big deal. You can wear whatever you want. Except there are some things that you should probably shouldn't be wearing” Aunt Clara said, grinning. The both of us started to giggle, and I couldn’t help but feel warm inside. I felt so much happier as a girl, and I even thought about staying as Nikki.

From the corner of my eye, I noticed Vivian was sitting on the couch in the living room and watching me. We both made eye contact for a while until she winked at me. She knew that I was enjoying this. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t. There was something about being a girl that just made life so much better. I felt much more open and emotional, which caused me to connect with these people on a level that I didn’t before.

Iwasn’t mad that Vivian had turned me into a girl. It was one of the greatest things that have ever happened to me!
