A Temp who was deployed to the Reservoir

I have been taking Temp jobs for the past 6 months with Black Faction.

I considered Merc work instead but I feel more comfortable working in with the company, especially with the SCUs.

Mercing is a bit wild for me, they don’t vet either so you get pretend tough women with no combat experience what so ever playing skirms and getting expended.

I did a single 4 year contract finishing up when I was just shy of 23 and after a bit of a break I came back to Temp it out.

The works been good, I get a couple of weeks to a month then back to the port for some fun.

Still feels like im with the girls, the Standards in the mask. It’s a good feeling.

You get more action Temping too, like every job guarantees a skirm.

You don’t see as much as an SCU but again Temps won’t go in no big mass skirm either.

Last one I signed was 2 weeks and its been extended out to 8 now. I’ve been at this reservoir for 6 weeks now and nothings gone down. At all.

Theres 40 SCUs here with a bout a hundred or so Temps. Transports in and out every day and we have been helping carry stuff in.

Pipes, machines, boxes, so much stuff Im thinking where are we gonna keep all this stuff.

You get a patrol shift about once a week where you circle a small circuit outside. I tell you what its hella strange walking around outside here. You gotta stick to the path otherwise you sink in that liquid earth gunk.

There isn’t much Azologoth Activity here but a bit off site its crawling with them

I can see why they want this place so bad.

Foods terrible here we are just on straight outpost rations. The water tastes funny too and the showers really lack pressure.

Other than that, the beds stiff, work is boring and everyone is itching for a fight.
