Black Faction Units for General Purpose

You'll see a few different combat units thrown into the fray especially in The Outer so this little explainer should help.

Standard Combat Unit are the baseline unit for all operations in Black Faction. Recruited to serve 4 year contracts they are trained in house and kept in the ranks on a non stop duty cycle for the entire 4 years. Used for static guarding, patrols, Azologoth extraction and of course combat operations, these are the most common of any Unit Type on Mallera-9.

Temporary Combat Units or Temps are exactly what the name is, Temporary. They typically come from former combat roles either from Black Faction or sometimes other companies. Some have no combat experience at all but instead paid to do 3rd party combat training courses. The money per day is higher than what Standard Combat Units get paid however when they are hired its more often than not into surge type roles where they will face direct combat.

Sublet Combat Units are just Standard Combat Units placed in a different uniform and leased out to "independent" operators who are aligned with Black Faction. They pay a day rate and are required to maintain the units on duty, other than that the Units will follow any order given as though it is from the Mistress.

Starcorp Mercs. Starcorp is the more insidious company if there is one. They have very low entry standards often taking in units who failed the courses for the main factions. Their training is poor to say the least. They hire large numbers of units up to the thousands and more often than not they are used as fodder.
