As one drifts away from the realm of Black Faction, CPD and V-Corp things get a little, crazy.
Not that massive conflict over resources by bloodthirsty corporation's run by evil Matriarchs isn't crazy.
But its generally more structured, more formal and doesn't have the wild west flavour to it.
Uncontested or U-Con does.
The infrastructure is much more destroyed and there is less tunnel infrastructure.
Far more liquid earth and generally unknown terrain make it very dangerous to large forces like Black Faction.
Its here where Mercs work for lone extraction specialists to swoop in and score Neon Dark from easy Azologoth.
They're good at their craft and almost never get eaten.
But deep in those dangerous jungles are Marauders.
Left overs from abandoned operations and defectors from the Major Factions who are after their fortunes.
One handful of Neon Dark would have a small band of Marauders set for life.
But that's where the Mercs come in, offering protection for a fee, or a cut of the Neon Dark.
But Marauders are not only after Neon Dark, they're after supplies too...
So the Mercs are always busy.

Very great enlight on Neon Dark low depths ! ...And could be a "kill" to focus on special Marauder new "unbeatable" character like the "old " Dione or something like that to spice the Neon Dark universe ...
