Die hard long serving SCUs know just how long the road has been. In their heads they see the end coming with the destruction of the Mistresses enemies. They don't know however that it will never end and their efforts, putting themselves in danger, fighting, taking on Azologoth not to mention the many years of their lives has all been to enrich the Mistress.
