During recruit training some of the women show signs of sociopathy, lack of discipline and general psychopathy. It might sound like the perfect "Expending" machine, but they don't work well in groups. Black Faction much prefers a normal woman pushed to do not "normal" acts.
The non fitters are normally pulled out and sent packing. These people will eventually make their way back to the island as contractors, temps or working for StarCorp.
Ana Dark needed a cold blooded unit from the get go, a unit assigned into HQ sectors. Fresh.
and not on ORC.
Her message to the head of Training Sectors "You are to advise me of any trainees who carry out a expenditure on another recruit deliberately. We need to perform some tests on these individuals".
It wasn't more than 3 months later that an incident occurred, though rare, they do happen.
How do you control an individual like that? Put the reward as far away as possible and be done with them after.
So why the sheet?
Before Ana went down at the hands on Lani (by command) she was scheming to unravel Lani's efforts.
The large operations were already being planned months in advance, large numbers of fresh units were being complied to serve in her upcoming assaults.
She had success after success, and it was making the rest of Senior Command look bad....especially Ana.
Would Ana set up the acquisition of Black Factions Raw Sync Comms Codes so that CPD, V-Corp, KTS and Zuvic can listen in on everything going on with BFCs operations against them? Costing them key victories against them, losing key infrastructure in the process, not to mention mass losses of equipment, potentially numerous transports and ofcourse, hundreds if not thousands of Black Faction Combat Units? Just not to look bad in the eyes of the Mistress and make Lani look bad to the Mistress?
Ofcourse she would.
