After two contracts with BFC she knew her luck was running out so taking the odd job with Starcorp here or there tops up her cash reserves for the year where she can jet off without tapping into her contract money.
A third contract would have secured enough money to generate good dividends, but that's really pushing her luck.
Most of the Starcorp Jobs involve standing around looking tough at some random location for a few days.
Others have gotten into skirms but she hasn't had a single one yet with Starcorp.
One day the notification on the Starcorp APP went off. She seen the number of slots open at 200.
"What the fuck could anyone need 200 units for"??
She knows something is up, so she declined the offer.
"they know they are going to be doing some serious expending if they need 200 on that job"
A week later she noticed quite a few empty pods where she was.
"They can't have been all wiped out on that job, can they?
A BFC recruiter came into her building looking for ex BFC units. She made herself known.
"We need security for general freight, you want some easy money?"

I wonder if "general freight" is code for two hundred uniforms being returned to Starcorp for repair and re-sale - no questions asked? ๐
