Standard Response sounded exciting and to be honest, it was. I got out with Zuvic 6 months ago after a 4 year contract. We had a little bit of trigger time there but we trained so freaking much for every possible scenario that it was a bit of a let down when we got into it.

So every time we skirmed it was just scrubbing Standards from where they were standing. A Zuvic Squad could take a Black Faction Rotunda no problem.

I didn't want to sign a contract, I wanted to try free-lancing it. Starcorp was appealing but the pay with Black Faction was better.

I took my first days work where we went to a pump station and took out some CPD units. We outnumbered them 3 to 1 and managed to nab the objective with a decent number of losses. Those were mostly ex Black Faction girls, not very well trained and kind of "Zakoey".

Less than a week later I got offered a defensive job, they dropped in a few hundred Starcorp off and about 100 SRUs including me.

This new faction attacked the very next day, V-Corp who wear grey along with CPD.

Starcorp really need to improve their training as the units they sent were piped real fast by the new greys.

We engaged them while they were taking out the last Starcorp units, there were three types of greys.

Ones in two piece uniforms, which were both shiny, who seemed to be their expendable type units and there were quite a number of them.

They used worse tactics than any Black Faction Unit Type I had ever seen, they really put effort into getting in the firing line.

The other type were in one piece suits and were far more competent than the others, using cover, tactics and the other units as cover.

The third were two piece also but with a different top, they were hanging back more and we didn't get to engage them.

We had a brief hard skirm with them, cutting down the two and single piece ones until they withdrew.

Next time they might want to finish what they started.
