Star Corp Deployed
Added 2023-08-08 11:05:47 +0000 UTCWhen Black Faction runs low on Standards they call in Star Corp. Star Corp doesn't really have the experience to take on combat roles and are intended to take over static roles while actual combat units go to combat.
But in some situations they have been deployed to combat against CPD, Zuvic or KTS units where they fair poorly. Every encounter like this results in a complete expenditure of Star Corp units.
Not on ORC, poorly trained and generally incompetent, the Star Corp Units find themselves being routed by highly trained , disciplined units on ORC and quickly feel the hard thuds on their bodies.
No real loss for Black Faction as they are not their units.
No loss for Star Corp as they get the payment for the deployment without having to payout their employee.
As for the individual?
Well they joined to get action and 'eliminate" others. they really want to fight and they get what they asked for.

Looking at this line up, all I can see are numbers on a spreadsheet ready to be archived. That's the image projected by wearing the Star Corp Silver. But, your expenditure will not be in vain. Well, it sorta actually kind of probably, will.

Their only difficult task is updating the database with details of expended / devoured / transmogrified units.
