From the flying days
Added 2025-01-22 16:18:20 +0000 UTCI flew a Cessna 172. I had 9 hours under my belt lol. I thought I was on my way to becoming a commercial pilot but I joined the army instead. I considered joining aviation but went ordinance and logistics instead.

Awesome. We owned a 172. Got about 200 hours in one before upgrading. Great little airplane.

I started in the military with my boyhood dream, shooting, patrolling, and digging holes, but then commissioned and transferred almost unwillingly to Logs (ordnance/ etc). " Tua Tela Tonanti", to the warrior his arms, an unexpected direction I thoroughly enjoyed for many years.
