Accused of using Ai

I’m seeing a new concern lately, not just with me but with other photographers as well. We are all getting more accustomed to seeing Ai produced images that our eyes automatically assume an image is now fake or computer rendered
Steph sent me the article pictured above if you wanna google it, it’s kinda funny, but also sad we live in a world where there is an Ai photo contest. I think it’s kinda cool, but I don’t want our grandkids to think an Ai image of the sunset as their hologram background is the actual thing. Like go out and experience life, take that photo for yourself.
Here are some images of Steph that have at one point in time in the comments or via messages someone has asked or stated were Ai produced. I have never used any Ai photos of Steph and passed them off as photos I actually took or that she modeled. I have shared with you all some fake looking Ai renders using Steph’s likeness and prompt based entries. But it was very obvious it was Ai.
I will say with the camera and portrait lens I use I get some incredible depth, which is a common look or feel to Ai images. Ai can very accurately replicate not only the focal view of a particular lens but also the depth and bokeh of that lens. (Incredible!) I’ve played around with it. A 35mm 1.4 will have an entirely different look and feel than a 24-70mm f 2.8. Ai can account for this.
Also Steph just looks like a cartoon character with her smile and eyes so that may also be another reason ppl think she’s Ai at times haha.
