Photo of the Day "I'll make you Coffee"

I have a couple galleries from this location so  I get them confused at times. Steph and I have traveled to DC for fitness shows, client work, and Fashion Week a few times. This was from a gallery "DC Loft" we were traveling for a fashion show, I believe, back in 2019 that Steph and been invited to walk in (DC Fashion Week) . My dad let us stay at his place while he was traveling. It was a tiny townhome in DC and we had the place to ourselves.  My dad was and is a scotch drinker so Steph and I had a glass the night before. The show was not until that night. So we slept in. Steph as usual sleeps nude, so she started making coffee nude in the morning as she always does for us. I thought this was a perfect scene to start taking photos and this was on of the first I snapped. She starting smiling in a shy sort of way. She asked if she should put something on for the photos... I said "no". 

Later that day my Dad got home we all went to the Fashion Show, which was fun ( not really my thing though) that night I start editing the photos on my laptop. My dad had made Steph and I a drink and asked me what I was working on. Looking back I probably should of said I was working on photos from the day but I mentioned I had taken some photos of Steph making coffee. He asked if he could see some. I looked at Steph and told my dad they were nude photos and Steph said that was fine if he was comfortable. My dad being a photographer, and one of the inspiring factors of why I got a camera said he did not mind. He took a look at some of the photos and remarked "Steph, you are absolutely one beautiful woman." He also said my photography was getting better and better. 

For context my dad and I are my friends than father son type. So it's not as weird as you may think to have your dad see nude art of your wife.  But it was also a cool moment to have your work appreciated from an unlikely source. 

This was the fashion line she modeled. I eneded up working some marketing jobs for this designer later on. Her clothes were a little out there but it was really amazing to see how she made the clothes and put a little of her passion and emotion into them.
