While Timber's family is quite well-to-do and industrious, his parents (and especially grandparents) had more modest beginnings. Of course, it doesn't go all the way into the 19th century... but this is more or less how I'd see him if he was born in that century.
Either his family is already quite wealthy (and most likely much wealthier than they are in the story canon), or they're still very modest. Either way, Timber's personality is very much similar – he doesn't take anything for granted, he uses his smarts to do good in the world... and I'm dying to rip these vintage clothes off of him and make out with his fuzzy body.

A socialite Timothee Linsbury wants to escape the vicious clutches of pompous aristocracy and pursue freedom as a deliveryperson, and "Lucky Boy Tim" wants to enjoy the comforts of wealthy managers to escape the back-breaking toil of labourers. They both learn a valuable lesson, in the end... "Swapping clothes with someone else feels... kinda fuzzy and warm."
