Everyone had trouble with the young Diddy, and his never-ending supply of pranks. There was not a single babysitter willing to look after him as a kid – not even within the Kong family! Even his best pal DK couldn't do it anymore, on account that he'd gotten a summer job.
Considering he was raised by his grandparents, they didn't have a lot of options... so they decided to send him to summer camp. That's how he came to be known as the little troublemaker of the group.
If ever Diddy met his younger self, I'm sure he would have trouble too... He's certainly mellowed out over time, even if he still enjoys a little tease every now and then. His pranks were never mean-spirited, but for an adult who has many things to do, they were very distracting and unrelenting.
