This week's quizzee is Banjo! Come say hi to everyone, big boy!
Banjo walks on stage, visibly bright-eyed and excited.
He sees the almost empty room and lets out a sigh of relief.
He stands up in front of the microphone stand and speaks.
Banjo's so tall, the microphone doesn't pick up his voice.
A stagehand rushes in and extends his microphone up.
"Oh! Ahuhuh, oops~"
"Uhh. Hello! Can you hear me now?
My name's Banjo! Err... Well, that's my nickname, in fact.
... I'm 29, I'm gonna turn 30 next June.
What else..."
"I'm single... I'm a carpenter!
I like to do all sorts of wood stuff in my free time.
... I also play the banjo, hehe. That's how I got my nickname."
"Hmm..."
Banjo looks down while he fiddles with his fingers, as he tries to find interesting things about him.
"Um... My family's from a small town outback...
It's not far from the camp we used to go to..."
"And... I dunno... I like hugs?
Gosh, I'm making this awkward! Ahuhuh~"

I put it on a bunch of stuff - pancakes, eggs... sandwiches, salads..." Drumstick__: "Hate to say it, big guy, but I think you missed the point... See, you're a nice bear, right? I usually chat with friends too, it really helps me unwind after a long day at work." --I think the emphasis is "lots" of free time.-- Banjo: "Uhmm... Lots of free time by myself... Well, if I have the whole day off, I'll bring myself a snack and go to the park, or I'll go for a walk in the woody trail close to my home... or go to a diner..." Pipsy: "Spill the beans, Banjo. They want to know if you prance around the house in the buff. (I wanna know too.)" Banjo: "W-wuhh... I'm sure they don't mean that! And I don't... do that... Well, not on purpose, or anything. Just when I come out of the shower, I... might wait in my towel until I'm dry before I put clothes on..." Pipsy: "How long does it take for you to dry? 6 hours, ish?" Banjo: "Thirty minutes to an hour! Usually no more than that! Quit painting me like I'm some... secret nudist, or something." Pipsy: "There's nothing wrong with that, you know... And I'll paint you however I want, thank you very much~"

I'd just turned 21, and Kazooie and Conker decided that we would have fun with a beer in the park after dark. I didn't know it was against the rules to drink there... So... a police car came by, and Kazooie and Conker ran as fast as they could. But... I dunno what happened - I just froze! So two police officers came out and started asking me questions... I tried to hold it together, but I was panicking! 'You know you can't drink in public like this?' 'What's your name? Who are your friends?' ... I-I told them everything. I was so scared of getting in more trouble. They just brought me back home and told my parents. They were disappointed in me... golly, I still get nervous when I think about it. Kazooie and Conker got in trouble too because of me, but... we got over it since. We're true friends, that's why!"

If there's a country festival around, I usually like going in good company, ahuh-huh~" "But... I guess if it's up to me, I think I prefer going someplace nice and quiet, like the woods or a cabin. 'Course, we need food and stuff! All the things we need to make it special. It's cool if there's a hot tub or a sauna, but honestly I think I prefer without. No internet, no TV... No electricity. Just the two of us, spending every minute together. We can enjoy food and talk, share memories, lit by a candle... Listen to the sound of the forest... Feel the big, wide world around us. And, if we get cold, we can... sit by the fire or the wood stove together, and roast some treats. Or, I suppose we... can cuddle too... if... you're into that..." "... Um, I wouldn't go there on a first date, ahuh-huh! Golly, no... Only once I've gotten to know the person, and I know they'd enjoy a trip like that too..."

I'm a little fat too, ahuh-huh!" *Banjo presses down the fur on his bicep, though it's clear most of it ISN'T fur or fat.* "How much can I lift... You know, I'm not sure? I don't go to the gym or anything, I just lift a lot when I'm at work – beams of wood, tools... You know the drill!" *Drumstick laughs in the distance.* "Um... Heh, anyway. But, I think the heaviest thing I've lifted was my family's old grandfather clock... It's this big, Spanish mahogany clock, it's got all sorts of little details sculpted on it, and obviously it's got clockwork inside too... My uncle said it weighs 285 lbs, but I think he's exaggerating a little... I had to bring it upstairs from the basement, mostly on my own because those were narrow stairs. I don't think I've ever sweated so much. It's a good thing it had varnish on, otherwise it would've gotten stained! Ahuh-huh!"

My favourites are scenes with bears fishing, or walking in the woods, or, y'know... All sorts of things. Those remind me of my childhood a lot! I've made toys, dollhouses... furniture like tables, chairs... I'm pretty big on wood! Ahuh-huh~ I think this all started when I was trying to do a really nice group portrait of me, Kazooie, Conker and Berri. It was doing a sort of... wood-burning portrait mixed with sculpting. But... I never actually finished it, because Berri passed away, and then Kazooie left, and Conker... He... ... Well, you know. Um... Sorry. I shouldn't be dumping all of this on you."
