As you can see, I've experimented a bit with them. Bigger junk, more body hair... What else would look good on them? Mind you, I do think they're fine as is, but I will no longer have a Bokoblin without a tail anymore. I mean, just look at it! I just wanna grab it and... well, I'll probably get punched viciously, but I wanna grab it anyway.
Little lore time...
"Blins" are unnatural creatures made from the same material that the Dark Prince Ganon himself is made of. I say "unnatural" because Ganon himself is a timeless creature that was created with dark magic, rather than birthed.
Ganon himself is male, and he creates his offsprings by copulating with members of various species. Female, male... Humans, mermen... even animals, as off-putting it might be. Much like an incubus, Ganon has impressive seduction abilities - once he has his grasp on them, the subject ceases to resist and surrenders itself to him. He regularly hosts orgies in his lair in order to create new underlings.
Once filled with Ganon's seed, the subject begins a metamorphosis that lasts a few days, after which it becomes a "Blin". The resulting creature is always male, since it's essentially a lesser copy of Ganon - it is in no way related to the vessel's DNA.
However, since the dark energy they're made of is of lesser quality, these clones are usually unable to make offsprings of their own... try as they might.

Well, Ganon wasn't tasked with making an army... He's the one that decided to make use of his power to assemble one! He's quite physically gifted too, so that works in his favour. But, his army didn't appear overnight either! Ganon has been around for centuries, and Blins don't age either. As for other species having a similar power... There are species where one individual plays a key part in the species's prevalence. Deku Scrubs fall in that category, since a Deku King is rare enough that tribes will form around them. Unlike Gerudos, Deku Scrubs can't procreate with other species, so they have to live in groups. However, Blins are unique in that Ganon is the only individual (or just about) capable of creating other Blins.

2024-07-25 19:04:35 +0000 UTCThe scrungly body hair is so perfect on them, I gotta admit! I think the creation method is really interesting, though it sounds exhausting for ganon to make a whole army by himself manually haha. Are there "leads" of various races that also have similar procreative abilities like him? (And if there are, do they need constant attention from underlings to make sure everything is working correctly?)
