You may remember this one. This is Steph’s OF post today so I figured I’d beat her to it.

This photoshoot was one of my favorites. I was setting up the home studio years back when we first moved in our current house and she was cooking dinner she came out to check on me and I asked if she would model for me quickly. I had a shoot the next day I wanted to be prepared for. She had no makeup on, and had shorts and an hoodie on. She took off her clothes and stood there until I started giving a little direction then she took off on her own set of poses which impressed me. We spent about 30 minutes taking impromptu photos. Her pose here shows me she had all this creative energy inside her and she wanted to let it out.(she wasn’t really modeling for me at the time like she does now)

I was so focused on my gear and set up and learning lighting that I didn’t appreciate her fully during this shoot. A year later I came back to these photos and was amazed at her form, elegance, and simplistic beauty. I’m glad I asked her to model.
