Dressed in Gold

Back in 2018, she was hired to model a dress by a local designer, and I was paid a small amount to photograph a few dresses. This was not one of the images used for the designer, but just a personal project I was allowed to carry out.

I had this idea of her in the gold dress, then nude in gold glitter. Fully dressed, then fully undressed only with gold glitter to accent.

What is the difference in beauty? We see her in a dress and we thing of an elegant woman, we see her without a dress and we still see beauty, but in more of a physical sense.

The pose with the dress she looks more somber and serious as if she is conforming to a standard; then when nude she is free, happy and expressive.

Both have a time and a place. While the dress indicative of a social standard and status, her nude form accentuates the beauty and confidence present. Aside from never wearing a bra, she is usually very modest, and tasteful. She won't wear cheesy club attire, thongs, or revealing clothing, but does embrace her nude form and has no problem showing herself; she wont twerk on snapchat but does pose nude for art on social media. I feel even a clothed person can emphasize sex or lust much more than a fully nude figure, at which point in the case of the latter, it becomes more than nudity but rather an idea and notion of appreciation, acceptance, unseen beauty, and a celebration of sexuality.

I would love to hear your thoughts. How do you feel when you see a woman in an elegant dress vs a nude woman. Can both be elegant? Obviously, there would not be a nude woman at a formal event (unless you are in some high secret masquerade circles lol) What is the difference in beauty as you would describe an elegant dress vs a physical reveal?
