Steph and I are working on a new project focusing on the history of nude photography. Nudity had been present in painting and sculptures for thousands of years but in the mid/late 1800's a whole new medium presented itself.
We are focusing on the styles, lighting and posing of nude photography from the late 1800's until present. Steph will obviously be my subject who will try her best to mimic the models of each respective time period; I will focus on the angles, lighting, and overall style.
The goal beside producing the art and writing a summary article, is to analyze how the styles and genres within nude photography have changed and of course the controversy associated with nudity.
If you have any insight or recommendations feel free to share! Thanks for your support and contributions as always.
