A dress can accentuate the form but the form in and of it's self is what I wanted to appreciate. While she is comfortable with nudity, she has often got my intentions confused with something other than artistic motives.
We as a couple have issues to work past and we as a photographer and model team have issues to work past.
I told her, to me a dress did not make her beautiful. A piece of jewelry does not define beauty, it should only accent it.
To me her form, her smile, kindness, skin, breasts, her nude figure and petite features was an art form to be captured, not necessarily exploited in some un-tasteful fashion.
She told me, for her, a dress is about feeling pretty, more so than how she looks. I still don't really understand that, but am making efforts to connect on an emotional level.
The first picture was from a styled shoot for a local boutique. A week later we were doing some studio shots of some dresses, in between changing dresses I asked her to model for a quick nude shot. I wanted to appreciate her form as it was then.
