Quick update for September

Hey there Patrons!  I mentioned in my last update that I wanted to make some changes in September, so here's a quick update on that.  If you want the full backstory on this, read on, but the TL;DR is this:

From September to November, we're going to trial releasing our story issue as a single release, not as a part 1 / part 2 split, and we'll also commit to releasing at least one bonus issue every month.

If you have any questions, comments, thoughts or criticisms about this, please comment below or let me know privately and I'll get back to you.

The Backstory

When this channel was in the planning stages a year ago, I really wanted to be able to push out 2 high-quality comics every month, plus all the static images that go with them.  Unfortunately, despite 6 months of prep, I just couldn't keep up the level of output required to get two full issues ready every month.

Even with a full backlog of comics that Poppy and I made for our, ahem, personal use, I couldn't update them to the new Patreon-ready format fast enough, so we made the tough decision to do just one release per month, split down into two parts.

But when the opening date came and we had so many new subscribers in the first week, it felt unfair to leave our excited new Patrons with one comic they'd already seen on a free site and an unsatisfying half of issue 2, so we put our future content on hold and smashed out a real quick bonus issue.  And that kinda set the scene for the next few months.  We'd get our main release ready, and then we'd do at least one new bonus issue on top.

So, we've proved that we can release one full story issue, plus a shorter issue, every month.  This means you get to read the full story in one go, which hopefully retains a better impact than getting yourselves right into the scene, only to be denied for two weeks while you wait for the concluding part.

The New Schedule

We're going to retain the two-weekly schedule, with a comic release one week followed by a static image release next week, at 10pm on Friday nights.  The change you'll see is that full story issue is released as a complete comic, and that a shorter comic (previously called a bonus issue) will land two weeks later.

Does this mean you'll get less issues overall?  No - we've no plan to change that.  All this does is formalizes the bonus issue into a main release.  Previously, it wasn't part of our commitment to you - it was just something we did if we had time.  In September, it becomes a formal part of your membership.

Does this mean no more ad-hoc bonus issues?  Again, no!  If we've got spare capacity in the month, or there's something topical we want to cover in a desperation comic, or we're just desperate to get something special out, then we will do that as an ad-hoc release in between the other comics.

Will the new shorter (previously bonus) comics be Sadie's Laxative Challenge comics?  Mostly, but not always.  Sadie's Laxative Challenge issues are really quick to make, this allows me to make a bonus issue and have time to make better, more involved story issues.  But there are other scenarios involving a single character in a single location, so I'll do more of these, too.  And sometimes your bonus issue will be a short pee desperation comic, because I know some of us love watching a cute girl cross her legs and squirm with a full bladder.

Will there ever be any multi-part comics split over two or more months?  For the trial period (3 months, Sept to Nov), no, we will not split any comics across months.  If the trial is a success then all future issues will be complete, in that they will have a beginning and an end.  However, as we roll into 2023, we want to introduce some longer storylines.  That means you'll get a complete chapter in one month (with a beginning, a middle, and an end), but the overall story arc will continue over several months.

What we promise NOT to do is any more of this "but please, Mistress, I'm gonna shit in my pants!" - stay tuned to find out what happens next month! type stuff - it's not our goal here to block you like that, and that's why we're changing the release plan so that you always get some kind of ending, even if the story itself continues.

So, What's Next in September?

September brings the final qualifier in our Office Hold-it Contest!  Three hot young ladies struggle to retain their poop for the glory of entering into the Grand Final in November!  So, who is taking the challenge?

Gemma: you know her already, this tiny dark-haired cutie has opened her bowels twice for us here, once in her gorgeous tight white pants when she had an unexpected bout of diarrhea, and once in the corridor of the coffee shop when she couldn't keep it in her little butt any more.  She knows how to be desperate, but does she know how to keep it in?

Hannah: our gorgeous cleaning contractor, she gallantly squirmed for a whole 30 minutes back in issue SC-003 before she offloaded her urgent cargo.  One of the few girls to actually complete one of the challenges I set for her - could she be the victor?

Harriet: her first time appearance, the Creative Director here at Cabra HQ is the most senior member of staff (besides yours truly) to star in a hold-it contest, and she knows it will undermine her authority if she goes poop in her pants before the other ladies - the pressure is on (quite literally!) as she sets her keen and determined mind on a win!

The full issue is coming your way on the 9th of September!

Comments

Hi Andrew, I definitely want to keep clothed pooping a key part of what we do. I always strive for balance, and I'm really sorry if things have swung a bit too much toward the nude and sexual side of things. We've got some clothed accidents coming your way soon, and I'll try to use the story / short release schedule as a way to ensure some balance between all the different aspects of poop desperation that we do here :)

So this means we’re going to see more panty and pants pooping? You have done so much nudity and sexual activity lately, I was beginning to wonder if I should continue being a patron. If you’re going to do that stuff, fine but please keep things in balance.

Andrew
