Tekken 8: Miary Zo Trailer Coming Next Week!

Well here's a cool surprise- Tekken 8 Producer Katsuhiro Harada just posted on X that we'll be getting some new footage of upcoming DLC fighter Miary Zo just before the Top 8 at EVO France. The event is on Oct.12, so just before Armor King's release (or just on it) we'll see some bits of the next character to come.

Miary is the final fighter for Season 2, and is a practitioner of the martial art of Moraingy and other African fighting styles. Hailing from Madagascar, Miss Zo apparently likes watching animals and the Malagasy dish, Ravitoto.

From her first appearance, it was said that the devs were changing her look a bit to be more accurate to her concept art. From what I can tell, her facial features seem sharper and IMO slightly better, though honestly she still seems to be very similar in look to Christie Monteiro or Katarina Alves, which is not a bad thing necessarily. In the end, I think her fighting style and personality will be what makes me like her a lot or only a bit. Doesn't hurt at all she's barefoot in her Default Outfit (which we'll have to have converted to support our Feet mod) and really- Tekken 8 needs to add more ladies.

I expect Miary to release by the end of the year or early January. Fingers crossed its sooner rather than later.
