My biggest critique of OPM S3 is it feels exactly like OPM S1 and 2. I'm enjoying it but I've seen other anime I enjoy more. S3 isn't bad but just like S1 and S2, it's fine. You can try a Venus flytrap. Not perfect, but they do eat bugs.

2025-11-11 20:10:57 +0000 UTCI enjoyed many series with mediocre animation, so that aside, One Punch man S3 had a really slow start for me and perhaps some uneventful sections could have been edited out or better paced. Recent episodes are moving the story along so getting better, if it turns into a tournament arc, then lets see if they can take this chance to develop the side characters and make things interesting. Minor comment on the animation and pace, there seems to be alot of still shots and some scenes just drag too much which makes things look worse.

My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I'm Out for Revenge! Dusk Beyond the End of the World Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! Ninja vs. Gokudo Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Season 2 A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2 If any of these studios would've done one punch man we would have minimum +25% better animation - 'A gatherer's adventure in isekai' is weakest anime in that list and yet its animation is better by 25%, - My hero academia final season has better animation than JJK S2, so that would be +1000% better animation, - The "lv9999 anime" that one has +150% better animation when compared to OPM, - My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's has +200% better animation The difference in those shows in that list is that those shows have a story and one punch man half its identity is animation and half is comedy. The comedy is still there, the animation is not. All is left is for us to make a meme out of s3 and have a good laugh when looking back. Cannot wait 2030 OPM S3 fan remake with A.I and it would be better with $0 budget. I 100% blame the guys at top and not the animators. Studio is same as s2 . Make no sense, therefore I blame poor management by those who own the IP.

Its an anime based on eight one-shot stories drawn by the creator of Chainsaw Man so the stories are great and the adaptation by the studios is phenomenal (animation, ost, everything). Because its an anthology you could just react to the first episode "A Couple Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin' in the Schoolyard" (the best one imo) and it will blow your mind how much peak can be packed into 20 minutes

Like Bandai Namco, they expected this to be done with just 1 member from JC Staff that only worked on slice of live and the rest is outsourced to China or Korea.
