Update! Where We Were, Where We Are, and Where We're Going.

Really want to preface this with the fact that I probably didn't plan this out correctly with the whole "reopening in phases" bit.

I made the mistake last time with opening to a wider audience with a plan that would only work with a smaller support group. I got overwhelmed and shut down. This time, I opened to a smaller group with plans for a bigger audience, and now I am dealing with the lack of incentives on both ends. What we have now is not a bad idea, but it's about time that we open to the public to get more people in here.

Based on what I would like to do with these polls, I would say that the winners of these polls would be depicted with a piece that would be valued between $200-250. By the current model, we would need between about 40-70 patrons at the two current tiers to pay it off. With the 15 patrons I've had for the past three months or so by advertising strictly within the four walls of my own discord server, if I were to do the poll all four months (counting February), It would be equivalent to me doing $800-1000 worth of work for a little over $200, if that, which is...yeah.

Again, cannot stress the fact that its my fault that the launch went as well as it did. It wasn't a bad launch because it went just how I planned it; I just don't remember why it was a smart idea to do it that way.

If you want to leave, it's completely understandable. I'm not shutting it down or anything, but I can understand if people don't like that its been so quiet; there's been a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes--both good and bad (i.e. I contracted Covid this month but I'm doing much better lol)--but most of it is not concrete enough to make official announcements on. I have a lot of goals, and even more hope for this year, but I kinda need your help to do any of it.

So the plan is this. If you stick with me for the next month, I'll finish Mare Bello Fiore like we agreed on. But I want to put more focus on advertisements and building a bit of hype for it for the coming month. The full launch will be March 1st if this site hasn't burst into flames by then. I want to reintroduce individual art tiers of different levels, try some alternating comm slots, and if it gets big enough, I might have to dig into the cycle system. I think eventually, if it all goes to plan, it probably will have to swing that way, but content will be flowing much more frequently.

Never good at ending these things, so I guess all i can say is that though the tier names will be changing soon, they are named that way because what is about to happen would be much harder to do if you guys didn't stick around. So thanks for the support. Any thoughts and feedback is much appreciated, but this seems to be the place we're headed and I think it will be beneficial to everyone involved.
