However, should I be greedy and add another tier? for 30$ or 35$, which will mean one more chapter each for you guys a the same rate when I have enough chapters to get to that tier.

Lemme say something, when I created the next tier, the votes were fifty fifty. If something happened after that to it, IDK. I waited four to five days after putting that poll. However, as I did before when the Celestial Tier was introduced, I am once again increasing the number of chapters on Pat, so that the 20 and 25 dollars tiers still get the same number of chapters as before...for the teens who find my work good enough to spend two hours of their week on it, they will get the same amount of content as before. However, for those that can afford it, they get another extra few minutes... So basically, what I want to say it, that except for an added tier higher than Celestials, not even a single has changed for the Titans and the Celestials. By the time September ends, I aim to once again balance the chapters according to the tiers. SOS 8 is already 70 percent done, and I have also started in WOT 21 along with Ascension too. Just think of it as the time when I added the Celestial tier way back and balanced out everything with added chapters on Patreon

2022-09-12 03:50:28 +0000 UTCI’m a bit late to the discussion but I agree with joe on this one. I voted in the poll that the tier system as it was before was fine. To come back and find another tier sends a message to your patrons that you don’t value their opinion. Not to mention putting your content behind a high paywall especially for a newer story stunts your growth in viewership if ppl only want access to that story. Those like myself and joe most likely can afford it going by are willingness to pay. but the demographic for this is likely mostly in the teen to 20s range. A demographic that currently doesn’t get paid a lot in most cases and is likely in full time education so can’t afford to spend $35 a month for 2 hours entertainment at the most.
