I ended up aiming for the PSX Mega Man Legends style with chunky hands and features on Love-chan here and I hope to get her UV's and textures done next week. I'm planning on splitting the course into a series of very easy to follow sections, starting with making character references if you want to make your own character in this style, then quickly modeling the character using your references part by part, then doing the UV's and textures- followed by some quick rigging in Rigify.
