This week's schedule and next month's - Membership Pause for October
Added 2025-09-22 15:27:37 +0000 UTCTl:dr;
This week's schedule: There will be two each, but I'm still working on them. Expect both Undersea's chapters by Wednesday at the latest, and both Scorching's chapters by Sunday.
Taking October off to work on a pile of stuff. I won't be completely inactive, but there will probably not be a lot of new chapters. Details down below but basically, I got 2-3 book's worth of edits to get through.
I'm suspending billing for October, aka pausing it the day of 30th of September, and it'll automatically re-activate after 30 days. Basically it works like this: If you were to be billed on the 29th of September, it means you'll only be billed again on the 29th of November. I would be back to a normal schedule at the start of November. So you'll still get your full membership benefits, just a little delayed.
Hey all!
Hope everyone's doing great! Quick update, Torchbearer has done well on launch, so it's signed and I have basically bought myself some more time to do this writing thing. Thank you all for your support, it really helped!
To get to the subject of this post, well. Work has been piling up, and I'm raising a flag to say I need time to get through it. That's why I'm suspending billing for the next month, because while I want to keep forging forward and writing new stuff, the "housekeeping" is falling behind. For some transparency, here's what's on my docket:
Book 1 of Scorching edits came from the publisher, and I gotta look into them and send it back.
The start of book 2 of Scorching is still rough, especially with some stat tracking and the timeline. I gotta go pack and iron that out. It bothers me.
We're around 70% in book 3 of Undersea, and I wanna clean up those 70% before the book end and before I can send it. Early stats are a mess. I kinda want to finish book 3 soon to send it as Undersea officially launches on amazon mid-January, so delivering the book sooner means it might be processed faster. (especially if launch goes well)
The new baby requires some advanced chapters. I don't know if you guys have seen Torchbearer's launch. While it wasn't a smashing success, it did pretty well, and some of its numbers are solid. It has a decent chance of doing well when officially published, so I want to set up a few advanced chapters for it. That could potentially be of a great help for me, especially when it comes to financial stability.
For that last one, I was gonna use my "rest" week for it, but frankly, with the whole list of tasks I've got, a week/per month is nowhere near enough to get through all of this. Especially if I want a day here and there to unwind. Not complaining, but I haven't had one of those in like two or three months (you've probably noticed that I've used the last two breaks on Torchbearer).
So, yeah. That's basically it. I'm planning to get the editing out of the way first, wrap up Scorching's current arc if it's not done by this week, do some outlining for Undersea, and focus the rest on new Torchbearer chapters. I'll be pausing on RR for Undersea and Scorching, but it's too soon for Torchbearer to take breaks and I don't want to negatively impact its growth this soon, so I'll have to keep that one going.
That's it! Again, thank you all so much for being around. Always love the comments and feedback I'm getting from you all and I hope you've been enjoying the stories.
Cheers!
