When it comes to character designs, a few people have mentioned that certain character designs need to be improved, and that a few of the full corruption designs are too similar. In fact, over 1/3rd of players reported that improvements the visuals and graphics for the characters and sex scenes were their most desired improvement for the game in the last survey, which was also the most voted option in that question.

This is something I want to fix, and help future designs stand out and look better, and potentially remake past designs to look and stand out better in a future V0.X.0 update where I overhaul and improve certain aspects of the game, as one of the more important issues that people have mentioned since Yukako and Rina's routes were completed, is the mentioned issue of designs being too similar and boring after being corrupted.

I've mentioned it a few times before, but I am working on a potential replacement for koikatsu for the art the game uses. One that will allow for more variety and uniqueness in character designs (along with better designs in general), no clipping or texture tearing in character designs, sex scenes, and animations, more variety of sex scenes (including scenes that could include 3+ harem members), and several other benefits to designs and sex scenes that are impossible for koikatsu to provide, while also potentially having little to no change in average development time. It will be some time before it is ready to show to the public, and hold a poll on if people think it is worth using though. I'll go into more detail on this potential replacement when it is at a point where it could feasibly replace koikatsu, and I can poll people on its use or not.

That being said, progress on this is promising, and I am getting closer to getting this replacement ready for use. Right now, I'm testing a few commonly requested changes and additions to character designs, and working on making current character designs more unique. This survey is for me to get a better understanding on what people want to see in character designs, both pre and post corruption so that regardless of if the replacement is used or not, I can make character designs better based off of feedback. Though, a lot of potential suggestions and feedback will be tested in the replacement, since several things are an impossibility in koikatsu.

Since this is a survey, and not a poll, none of the results will set any changes in stone, and I'll be taking a "only if I can make it look good, and it is better than the current design" approach, so that if an idea is good in concept, but not in execution, I can just focus on what would look and work best for character designs.
