Marta

Considering I created the refs/bios for everyone else in Sweet & Savory's main cast back in 2019, this one is severely overdue

"Momma" Marta is the large, forty-something tiger who lives a few doors down from Muffin and Ashley. She is considered the elder and surrogate mother of the group and most of the people living in the apartment complex. Marta is a very sweet and caring individual, always willing to help or listen to those under hard times - her embraces and cookies are absolutely top-tier, even if they won't solve your issues, they sure feel really nice...

She's normally pretty private about her personal life, though for the most part it's pretty quiet to begin with. Her one biological son has long since grown up and started a life of his own elsewhere, so Marta has lived on her own quietly and happily for a long while. She considers dating again occasionally, though in most cases she considers herself a bit past her prime, even with assurances from Muffin and friends that she is absolutely not.  Maybe someday she'll find someone who can fill that part of her life again.

Marta's work life is a little bit.... different than you'd expect from a large, soft, tiger momma. Crowds cheer for The Queen, her skills nearly unmatched in the ring. Newcomers cower at her superior height and strength before getting wrecked - though the intimidation factor tends to fade once they see how she's really like backstage... after they've woken up of course. Though her career started with very real fights wrestling bears, her work is mostly performative now, and she knows how to make a fight seem intense without doing too much damage to her opponents. Many of the local wrestlers, old and new, look up to Marta, and she cheers them on to be the best they can be - even if their opponent is her. 

Marta isn't too old, but there are still a few things that take some getting used to. Technology isn't entirely lost upon her, but from her perspective it's moving a bit faster than she can keep up with. Her pc is ancient, only used for email, light internet browsing, and requiring constant cleanup. Muffin tends to be her go-to for fixing problems with her computer because he's almost always home and.... I mean he has one of those big fancy light-up gaming computers, he must know all about them right? And outside technology, Marta is only a little bit weirded out by... -ahem- "recreational eating?" Back in her day, an open mouth in front of you face meant "danger" and it dumbfounds her that some people find it sexy these days. She won't judge though, and she might even flash her own maw at you if you ask - she's completely safe, she hasn't munched anyone for keeps for over a decade.
