Well, so was I! It was such a challenge & I feel like I did my best here, regarding the time I can afford on the color process. I'm very glad to read your words, these mean a lot to me. The big change I see & I decided to not reproduce is that light atmosphere in the coloring Hernan is able to create. It seems to me like his signature & I don't wanna copy that. In fact I didn't copy any of his work: I thought about copy/paste what I could but it seems unfair so I went for re-interpretation of the colors he made for the comic series. We'll see how it goes wit more pages in the forthcoming weeks, but I'm confident, well sort of! Merci pour ton analyse et tes gentils commentaires, mon ami ! XOXOX

I don't feel the transition is jarring at all, in fact, I think you beautifully approximate what was done in book one. The texturing of the background works very nicely, and I love that the mood is very different, but the continuity remains there. I love this page, and I love that we get more context and story, too. You should be very proud of this one, my friend. I think you're doing a great job on all fronts and I am REALLY EXCITED to see what comes next. FΓ©licitations, mon cher CLX!
