2024-04-01 20:59:30 +0000 UTCI am army too, i kinda have love hate relationship with groups i stan, tbh bts literally became part of me my first ever group, i still tear up when see boys & i don't think any grp's music ever hit me like bts, but i also hate hybe so freaking much i hate how i contributed to create the most payola company to ever exist in kpop. zb1 is the second grp i staned, tbh my hate part never really directed toward the members or the grp but for the company i hate wk1 so much most incompetent company ever. Srsly zb1 got everything one of the easiest grp to fall in love & so talented but wk1 don't manage the grp potential well.

2024-03-29 22:09:15 +0000 UTCI'm feeling the same way as you. BTS will forever be my number one because the connection I have with them is just on another level than anything I've ever experienced. And I never thought I could fall for any other group so deeply, yet here I am, absolutely adoring these 9 guys. I didn't watch BP while it was airing but I checked ZB1's music when Melting Point was released and loved what I was hearing so I decided to watch the show to learn their names and faces at least. Boy oh boy, I fell for them so hard... Slowly but surely they crawled into my heart and have brought me so much joy, love and comfort ever since. It's amazing how close they are despite, in some cases, meeting for the first time on the show, they feel like they've been a group for 5+ years. And the talent! The more I watch them and learn about them the more I'm in love, BP barely scratched the surface for most of them. I'm now so deeply invested in all of them, I adore them so much. Precious human beings. I'm also really glad that so many other boys from BP got to debut, 9 spots really wasn't enough this time - so many talented and beautiful souls, and the friendships! My heart melts whenever I see some of the contestants hang out together, or do a challenge, mention eo etc. BP was truly a special show.

Like there’s just something so special about watching a whole bunch of people slowly come together and become a group. I wish they could be a permanent group but I don’t think anything can change that so I’m just taking this group as an experience and soaking everything in while it’s happening instead of letting it pass me by and I hope they’re doing the same bc I just love them all so much.

Ricky is very smart. He speaks Chinese, English and Korean. But since Korean is already his third language and last few years he spent practicing dance and vocals a lot more than speaking it takes him extra second to translate his thoughts . So already calm chaotic Ricky takes extra second to pronounce words clearly. Because of that he has very distinct korean , speaking pattern. I'm not sure if you noticed it . Because in BP they haven't showed him saying more than few prepared sentences at the time . Members of course like mimicking Ricky korean. Also he a bit shy about expressing vulnerable emotions. But boys already helping him expand his boundaries. Especially Gyuvin . He would not leave Ricky in peace until he say I love you back. Summarizing: Ricky is just a silly cat .He likes fashion, looking good, buying expensive stuff. He knows that icy , all black , unapproachable looks most beneficial for his body/face type .But he also likes his singing cactus 🌵 toy, he won on some variety show. Any strawberry snacks. Playing basketball. Cat screaming at each other with Hanbin . His nickname is 🌸Lovelicky🌺 . As Jiwoong said " Ricky is still a cute baby" .

Dope club is the show with dance master baek kooyoung and they get some “revenge” for the way he was always yelling at them at first lol. Also highly recommend haobins tingle interview together! You get to see more of their chemistry and it’s so cute. Zb1 folder is also good, the first ep is where hanbin has his “leader ceremony” and there are more taerae shows where he goes around to the members chilling in their hotel rooms and they sing together! Each members birthday lives are also super fun, they get each other gag gifts and try to guess which member each is from. Ricky’s was first if you want to go in order, or you can pick and choose. Just fyi hao’s live was INSANE like despite being an introvert he’s so loud and truly such a little ball of chaos, we stan. And someone else in the comments brought up their predebut dance videos and I just wanted to second that haha, hao and hanbin were serving C U N T. the energy was impeccable Also wow watching this again with you has me totally in the feels, they’ve all come so far since this ep! Like even during the segment when they were naming members that were still awkward with each other, which totally makes sense considering there were 98 boys and some of them were never in the same group together plus the k vs g thing lasted for ages, but seeing it again now is WILD. Hao and taerae are literally gay besties they give me life (hao/taerae/matthew are known as the babygirlz line btw), taerae freaking wrote Matthew a song about his SMILE and how it makes him cry, Matthew takes such good care of Ricky and they chat in English all the time, and jiwoong being hao’s only hyung in the group like god they’re literally the sweetest together and adore each other so much. Much like you there were also other trainees I rooted for a bit more during boysplanet, but now I love these members and their group dynamic so much I couldn’t imagine zb1 any other way

But I hasn't been this passionate about not only k-pop group, but any artist in years ‼️And all Zeros saying the same . I don't think it's only survival show effect. I watched it first with you , so it's wasn't real time and I already knew who's in the final lineup. Stanning them feels incredible and so rewarding. Everything about Zerobaseone feels refreshing. This is also why I wanted to bring up topic about their predebut dance videos. Because I truly think it became fandom culture foundation for Zeros. Some of them is most popular inside jokes, and members referring to it often too. So you can understand it later I really, really recommend you checking out Hanbin's (mother) , Zhang Hao's (best friend), Jiwoong's (The self choreographed one, with lady) and few more predebut dance videos. It's shouldn't take a lot of time. But I would give my pinky to watch your first reaction to it . One thing I can promise: You will like it ! Because while watching Boys Planet you see them as open-minded, talented , progressive people. But by seeing Hanbin predebut dance videos helped me to see his true self better . And I'm not only talking about 🌈open - mindness🌈 . Zeros, back me up if you agree please 🥺. Or throw good compilation at me .

2024-03-28 02:45:22 +0000 UTCoh also this is so funny bc they clearly all thought about their nicknames/introductions and literally none of these stuck past this interview except young & rich which ricky still gets asked to do all the time. the other hilarious thing about this is when members said which other member they were awkward with because they are all so clearly close now and comfortable with each other. probably the funniest one of those is matthew and taerae saying they're awkward with each other bc they later said that since they're the same age they decided to be best friends and they totally are besties now. whenever you get around to watching their youtube channel content, watch the livestream taerae and matthew did a few weeks ago where they played a really silly video game together. you won't regret it.

2024-03-28 02:37:17 +0000 UTCcamp zerobaseone is a good place to start and zbtv is SO good and will keep you busy for a while! but they have done a lot of great stuff in the short amount of time they've been active so you won't run out of content. also since you mentioned the hosts here saying that gunwook isn't an adult, he was 18 at the time this was filmed which is an adult for us but still a minor in korea, where people become adults at age 19 (20 korean age). he's an adult in korea now, too, and yujin is officially the only minor on the team.

Matthew's "I have Jiwoong now" was great and I look forward to you enjoying future ZB1 content full of Jiwoong gazing at Matthew constantly 😂 Also there is so much more HaoBin 😁 I loved hearing it in their own words here, and I really love their relationship.

They have been so successful, I never been so proud in my life. My ult group is BTS, but since I became army after they are already stablished, it's a total different felling with ZB1, since I was there since boys planet. And the Haobin (Hao and Hanbin) stuff will get sooo much worst (in a good way) broooooo 🤣

2024-03-27 23:41:21 +0000 UTCOther than camp zerobaseone and zbtv here are some additional pieces of content I would recommend: - kstarnextdoor (2 parts) - 4cutlive (20 minutes) - idol human theater (the actual episode and there is also a behind the scenes with extended clips) - 1n2d (2 episodes I think) - zb1 folder which is fun segments, not in a particular order so you can choose whatever you want to watch (I would definitely recomment the first 2 episodes, the 3 taerae show episodes which was also mentioned here, and the two about ricky's mbti) - zb1 cam (again you can choose whatever you want these are just vlogs) - ze_episodes (a bunch of behind the scenes) BUT the first thing you should probably watch is camp zerobaseone cuz it's the first actual variety content they had, and everything else was pretty match filmed after that so you can see the shift in their dynamics as they become closer!
