I think even if there was tiny bit of gentle feeling emerging Gangtae would never let yourself process it and let it bloom to full potential. He thinks that Juri is a good person and he should push her away so he wouldn't hurt her when leaves next time or prioritize his brother over and over again. But Munyeong just takes his attention and focuses it on herself so violently, confidently it's turns his world upside down. When Gangtae with her he forgets about all of his super important duties. It's scares the shit out of him and makes him feel guilty for wanting things for yourself. The best thing Munyeong brings into his life is confrontation. I mean she does it in very Munyeong way . But she says something he only thinks about out loud: " You can't keep running away all your life." You have trauma? Let's deal with it ! I didn't understood a bit was you talking about Gangtae? Because its Munyeong the one who gives me biggest BPD vibes . Especially after starting to see her relationship with her parents more . And Gangtae calling her empty . Struggling with emotions, controlling rage . I love her ( ♥️🫀 . My relatable, clever , unstable Queen. Can't wait for you to see my favorite friendship on the whole show . Don't you love how kdrama talks in fantasy language while not being fantasy piece?In terms of storytelling, metaphors , visual representation. It's art !! I LOVE how all patients not just an NPC . You will see . Love you 🫵🏻☺️

2024-03-12 11:53:58 +0000 UTCanother great one thank u cam! personally what i got from this ep was; gangtae smiling with jaesu & talking abt forgetting anyone else is referencing being able to put down the things that burden him most when he's with moonyoung. we're not supposed to think that just bc theyre burdens theyre bad or he wants them gone, but rather he's admitting to himself that hes faced with a new, fresh, more freeing issue in those moments. he's able to forget. and as a man whose entire being is made of performing, he's having his performance torn away. jaesu's firm correction of him back into his role (bc he truly thinks thats all gangtae wants, its most palatable) was done on purpose. juri & moonyoung is an interesting topic bc i think they evenly matched their validity in feelings for each other and motives but even saying that i feel crazy bc one looks so much nicer. super interested to see ur thoughts going forward on sangtae's taking moonyoungs offer & his position on his own autonomy but Dang this show is almost too nuanced sometimes!!!
