I heard somewhere that the live audience who voted thought that Woongki was being selfish for having so many parts, not having the context of the others just straight up refusing to do it. The only good parts about it were the shots of Seowon being such a supportive bestie the whole performance, and how disgusted and confused the other trainees look when the results come out.

He is so talented and it broke my heart to see him doubt himself so much this episode, that's why I'm really happy he and hanbin have each other's back and that they still are each other's source of strength even to this day, they're so cute😞💞💞

If I remember correctly it was revealed that when shuaibo was saying "he didn't explain the meaning of the choreo, no wonder it came out like this" he was talking about the translators and not woongki, cause mnet provided very little translators to the contestants even tho most of them were foreigners which obviously made it very difficult for those who were not fluent in korean. Sure blaming others is still bad but not as bad as mnet made it seem. NOW, WOONGKI WAS LITERALLY ROBBED THIS EPISODE HE ABSOLUTELY CARRIED THIS WHOLE TEAM ON HIS BACK AND YET HE GOT NO RECOGNITION AT ALL. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE PEOPLE FOR THAT.

I've said it before but I'll say it again, MINGYU IS PRECIOUS and very likeable despite his clear lack of training in singing/dancing. He has such a positive "I'll just go for it 110% even if I make a fool out of myself" attitude that is just so endearing to watch. You can't help but root for a guy like him. And same goes with Doha and Takuto. I love the moment where Yunseo asked Junseo if he enjoyed performing and if it was fun (after Butterfly) and told him that that's what mattered the most. I think it will help Junseo remember why he wants to be an idol and perform, like instead of focusing on the fact he messed up, he can remember that he enjoyed performing. Hopefully that kind of mindset would help him build confidence over time. If I remember correctly, I think it was said that his and Daeul's company bascially signed them up for the show without asking them if they wanted to and both had very little training prior. Idk if that's true. But both of them did leave their company basically as soon as the show ended. Yeah Hui apparently dated Soojin in the past. That news broke out around the same time Hyuna/Dawn's relationship came out. But I believe this relationship was predebut and they had already broken up by the time it was revealed. Also Soojin had already left the group by the time "Tomboy" was released. Still an interesting connection. Yes it was Wumuti (and Dang Hong Hai) who comforted Hanbin on the stairs. LOL I was waiting for you to witness the HaoBin moment. Yes they're such close friends (wink wink). But in all seriousness, I'm glad they both found someone they could lean on here since they're both trainees that many other guys turn to for help.

They took out all the context and just made him look like he was being a selfish asshole totally unprovoked when you just know they would have made it a whole storyline for a k-group trainee. And lbr we all know WHY they did it, and it begin with "he's" and ends with "Chinese".

It's upsetting how many people I've seen reacting to this show be like "Of course they were gonna be good, but that was kinda... underwhelming actually." Like no treat them the same way you treat the other groups, they were AMAZING, comfortable, and you could tell they were having fun. (Can you tell this is my favorite performance of the whole show? It's followed closely by Zoom and 2 from the next mission.)

2024-02-08 20:17:45 +0000 UTCthe dual position battle definitely established a lot of favorites for people and this is the part where as a live viewer you could really feel the fanbases for the individual trainees grow. i'm so happy seeing people appreciate zhang hao and be amazed at his talent after tomboy. if kill this love was what started his popularity on the show, then tomboy was his breakthrough and truly deserved. these boys are all absolute sweethearts and so supportive and you'll only see haobin grow closer from here on out. as hanbin stated in his own tomboy fancam "there will be a lot of haobin in the future" (boy is whipped as hell) actually funny little extra: if you look at the background during the score reveals you can see hao and hanbin glued together. they were constantly holding hands.

2024-02-08 19:56:26 +0000 UTCNot to make excuses for MJX but iirc he was actually pretty ill and hospitalised for a little while, which is why he was so concerned about them having enough time- he'd already missed a lot. Obviously he didn't handle it well but it's such a high pressure environment that I don't really want to judge- I know I'D react badly. The whole situation was so hard to watch though. There were pictures going around of Ricky's bruised palm where he was scratching/pressing on it as a stress habit, it was heartbreaking. He's obviously naturally a pretty reserved person. And my poor Seongmin (they translated it as Sungmin in the subs) and Takuto!!! Their lyrics for Limousine are raw asf genuinely the most powerful performance in the series imo. Butterfly too!! it's my favourite BTS song and they did so good, even with the mistakes- like the highs were HIGH. Cong's voice and Kuanjui's Everything (SO underrated as a leader), I got goosebumps. low key i loved not spring, love or cherry blossoms tho it's so comfy and cute, ichan redeemed himself and sounded beautiful, doha's charisma and improvement was great, and daeul did an amazing job too. He got such a lot of hate for no reason other than being popular so I'm glad he got to give a really strong performance here. and tbh tomboy was flawless, it needs no comment but as a hui and gunwook stan i was very very happy. Seowon's face watching his bestie Woongki 😭😭😭 i love woongki so much everyone pls go check out his post-bp and the drama he's in rn, love for love's sake, it's so good!!!

Also, with the difference in cultures too I know that Ma Jing Xiang and Ricky are both ethnically Chinese so I think that is part of why they were mostly the "reason" for the team's conflicts and struggle.

2024-02-08 02:53:07 +0000 UTCI just want to elaborate a little on the Krystian story line he had already debuted in an international group called Now United but graduated from the group/is on hiatus so he went to BP but as he was evil edited by mnet in the first few episodes he got so much hate online and in person during this show, I think there were antifans waiting for him whenever they did in person meetings of fans. He clarified his attitude quickly by the next episode of him and was why the mentors said he had changed into a sheep. He has probably had the worst antifan situation I've seen on BP to date which is why his lyrics might not have been as poetic as Jihoons were still heartbreaking as you could see him trying to change and be docile to service the fans

That's the thing I would do to avoid panic attack in not a safe place. Clench my teeth and focus on only thing I need to do no matter what to survive. For him it seems to be "We need to practice .." looped over and over again. In this rare, scary moment its never my intention to upset people I happened to be nearby. Totally my assumptions about him .But it looked really similar to me. And confident, strong Ricky character clashed with this storm of emotions. Also they're poor teammates were caught between fire and flame . I wonder if BP had on site psychologist. Contestants are so young and stressed . 😥

2024-02-08 00:09:05 +0000 UTCA few things from when I was watching this as it aired I feel awful for woongki (he was consistently in my votes) but also the amount of hate shuai bo got after this episode was also terrible Mnet has a habit of making Chinese contestants look bad like Krystian and ricky so also take any parts that make them seem terrible with a grain of salt The limousine performance still gives me chills to this day and all I'll say about them is that all three of them are doing well for themselves Also this is the ep where people started jumping ship from Mattbin to Haobin and Mattwoong

2024-02-08 00:07:28 +0000 UTCThis is hands-down my favourite episode of Boys Planet, I've watched these performances countless of times, I absolutely adore the Man in Love and Limousine stages (My favourite part is actually Mingyu, I genuinely think he did an awesome job with it). Also simultaneously the most heartbreaking episode for me as well, with Woongki and Seongmin majorly going through it 😢 These two were the only reason I actually tuned in to Boys Planet in the first place. Watching them on the show was a tough time for me anyway, but this was definitely the low point (Fuck WakeOne, it has to be said).

At least 70 percent for sure . And even watched some groups that consist of contestants, who fall out from BP debut team. They doing so well ❤️🩹! I have so much complimentary/ fun fact type of stuff to say. But I keep holding myself back because everything can be a spoiler. But I can't hold myself back from saying one thing. THEY FIT SO WELL! Boys are getting to know each other still, but final group has one of the coolest, sweetest dynamics ever!!!☺️💕 Cameron , you made me tinier bit more exited about life . What a cunning boy you are .

I would recommend checking out Street Woman Fighter S1 (SWF) first because there are a lot of spoilers in SMF. Besides that you could also watch Be Mbitious which is a prequel to SMF to make the last group of combined solo dancers (they are a group now). Planet master Baek Kooyoung was the leader of the crew 1Million and planet master Choi Youngjun was his Co-leader (although he is older than him). Lip J was on SWF as the Co-Leader of PROWDMON.
