2024-01-16 10:38:18 +0000 UTCAs yet another person who read The Manhwa I‘m not gonna spoil you, but I‘m still weirdly mad that they didn‘t end the last episode on the statues grinning face! Like that would have been so epic! But ok. I think that they also don‘t really ever explain what exactly the proving your faith part had in mind exactly, but I think that in the end if they didn‘t dib out they had to first wait for the timer, but still put someone on the altar but it could have been less bloody because he had to be alive for the quest to be completed, the „your heart stops in 0.2 secounds“ part before he accepted what you‘ve already guessed to come next. Which is … kinda obvious from the title lol

I have never watched an anime before but Solo Leveling is my all time favourite Manhwa but I don't have Crunchyroll or anyone to watch with but here you come as a saving grace. I know it will be a while till it ends (end of march i think) but I hope you see it through I bet it is worth it.

2024-01-14 21:17:43 +0000 UTCI love how this adaptation is going! As a person who has read the manhwa I’m glad that they are sticking closely with the original source material minus some changes. You won’t regret watching this anime I promise😤 But I’m seriously so pissed at the gray haired guy (forgot his name) who placed all the blame on the leader when he knew damn well that it was a group decision to go (AND HE WAS ONE OF THE ONES WHO VOTED FOR IT WTF🤬). I hate his character so much like he’s such a coward oml🙄 Anyway I love the music that the main composer came up with when they were doing the musical instrument scenes since it feels so suspenseful and haunting and when they added the vocals I got immediate chills🤩 (and it went directly to my anime playlist too😅). Also another thing is that as Jinwoo is leaning against the altar and then gets stabbed in his throat I found that so jarring since the version that I watched had him say “I will-“ (prob due to localization or smn) and then he gets cut off. Really crazy right?! It’s so impactful and scary that they didn’t even let him finish his sentence. Usually in anime they at least have the MC get their final word/thoughts out but not our Sung Jinwoo😭 Anyway love the reactions and I’m looking forward to the next reaction as well as ur Sk8 the Infinity ones too 👁️👄👁️
